Day 1: Nairobi-Mount Kenya
Upon arrival at Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport , you are met by our representative thereafter journey north, passing near Thika, which boasts the world's third largest pineapple plantation, and Karatina colourful market the second largest open air market in Africa. Soon you turn off on the main road and head for Mountain Lodge arriving in good time for lunch. This is a tree lodge set in a forest glade with a waterhole that attracts all sorts of wildlife during the day and night. The waterhole is floodlit and there is an underground viewing platform. Overnight stay at Serena Mountain Lodge on a full board basis.
Day 2: Mount Kenya / Samburu
After breakfast depart to Samburu game reserve a journey across the northernmost foothills of Mount Kenya, proceed to Samburu Serena Lodge. It is situated on the banks of Uaso Nyiro River. Lunch at Samburu Serena Lodge . Early afternoon visit a Samburu Manyatta (village) to get an insight into their fascinating culture and way of life and there after proceed for evening game viewing drive in the reserve. A wide variety of animals and bird life are seen at the Reserve.
Animals commonly seen are elephants, lions, cheetahs, grevy's zebras, giraffes, gerenuks, buffalos, Oryx, grants gazelles, dikdiks and waterbucks. There are over 350 varieties of birds. These include the famous Somali Ostriches, kingfishers, humming birds, eagles, guinea fowls and vultures. Overnight stay at Samburu Serena Lodge on a full board basis.

Day 3: Samburu National Reserve Early morning game drive and return for breakfast. Mid morning at leisure, the Lodge spacious swimming pool and game viewing terrace and makes a perfect base for exploring this unique Reserve. Have Lunch. Afternoon game viewing drive in the reserve You are in a famous national reserve set in the stark country in the hot and arid fringes of Kenya's vast northern region along the Ewaso Nyiro River. The river's permanent waters abound with crocodile, hippo and plenty of wildlife including the peculiar Grevy zebra, Gerenuk, Beisa Oryx and the comical Somali Ostrich, unique to these northern parts. Day 4: Samburu-Sweetwaters
Depart Samburu after an early breakfast, you'll travel south, crossing the northernmost foothills of Mount Kenya, Africa's highest massif. Further north you'll turn off the main road at Nanyuki town and head across the plains and enter Sweetwaters Game Reaserve , a private ranch, with your final destination being Sweetwaters Tented Camp an exclusive and relaxing tented camp featuring a swimming pool, fabulous food, game drives around the ranch, and unforgettable views of snow capped Mount Kenya. Lunch at Camp. Afternoon game viewing in the reserve including a visit to the Chimpanzees sanctuary. Overnight stay at Sweetwaters Tented Camp on a full board basis.
Day 5: Sweetwater’s / Lake Bogoria After breakfast you will drive through the Subukia area, one of Kenya coffee and tea plantations on the way. Stop over at the Nyahururu falls briefly to take pictures then proceed down the rift valley escarpment and join the road to lake Baringo. With the Rift Valley's escarpments and hills on both side, lovely panoramas all the way to Lake Bogoria game reserve. Arriving at the hotel in good time for lunch After noon game drive in the reserve. The alkaline lake is tinted jade although the shallow waters are often blanketed with a broad band of pink as thousands of Flamingos. The area abounds with a large variety of animals and birds. Its ornithological paradise .also you may see the shy greater Grants gazelle and the waterbuck. Overnight stay at Lake Bogoria Hotel on a full board basis.
Day 6: Lake Bogoria/ Lake Nakuru
After breakfast depart to your next destination, Lake Nakuru National Park arriving for lunch at the sarova lion hill for lunch afternoon you will be taken for your game drive .Lake Nakuru National Park surrounds Lake Nakuru, a shallow alkaline lake famous for the millions of flamingoes who flock here year round. Besides the rich and varied bird life this is a popular place to encounter leopard. Waterbuck are usually sighted along the lake shore, and this is the home of the Rothschild’s giraffe. Baboon, impala, buffalo, monkeys, warthog, impala, Reedbuck and eland are also resident. However, the main attractions are the rhino. The park is a designated rhino sanctuary and it is one of the best places in Kenya to observe them. Overnight stay at Sarova Lion Hill on a full board basis.
Day 7: Lake Nakuru/ Masai Mara
Early morning game drive Breakfast at the lodge. Depart and proceed via Mau Narok and down the escarpment Narok town. You will also see the Masai people on the way, who live largely unaffected by modern civilization. Check in at your safari lodge and enjoy a sumptuous buffet lunch. Later in the afternoon, you will be taken for a comprehensive game drive in the park. Masai Mara is a magnificent landscape of open plains bisected by the Mara River and its tributaries, and punctuated by marshes and forests.
Certainly the most frequented game reserve in Kenya, this 650 sq kilometer reserve supports the highest density of game to be seen anywhere. During the seasonal migrations, Masai Mara is home to up to a million wildebeest and an equally impressive number of zebras that move into the area from neighboring Serengeti National Park, in Tanzania. The reserve is home to all the “big five” and it is also possible to observe; baboon, eland, ostrich, bat-eared fox, jackal and cheetah. The rivers abound with hippos and crocodiles. Day 8: Masai Mara Game Reserve
Enjoy the entire day in the Masai Mara with early morning game drive, optional balloon safari at an extra cost explore the great Masai Mara National Reserve. Return to the lodge where you can enjoy a refreshing swim before your buffet lunch. Later in the afternoon, leave for another game drive All of the Big Five are residents. You're sure to see the African buffalo. Get the cameras ready, stock up on film and enjoy yourselves! Overnight stay at Mara Sopa Lodge on a full board basis.
Day 9: Masai Mara-Mombasa
Breakfast at Mara Sopa Lodge. After breakfast embark on a morning game drive in the Mara. Return back to the lodge for lunch. Later in the afternoon you will be transferred to the airstrip for your schedule flight Mara- Mombasa. Upon arrival in Mombasa you will be transferred to your beach hotel.
